Youth Issues in
Canada and North America

Youth in Canada and North America face a unique set of challenges that have significant implications for their future and the overall well-being of society. With over 1.8 billion young people globally—the highest number ever recorded—the need to address youth issues has never been more urgent.

In North America, including Canada, the youth population is diverse and increasingly characterized by significant racial and ethnic variation, with a growing proportion of youth of color and Indigenous youth (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) facing systemic barriers.

What We Do
